What is a permanent bracelet?

Our permanent bracelets are endless fine jewelry that you never have to take off! Stainless steel, Gold Filled or 14K Gold chain is sized by our technicians to fit your wrist perfectly, then seamlessly welded together. Perfect if you love low maintenance jewelry.

Who gets permanent bracelets?

We have chain styles for all ages and genders! While self-purchasing one (or three...) is most popular at our store, we've heard lots of reasons to link up:

Does it hurt?

Nope! The weld never makes contact with your skin. We use a specialized welder that is meant to be used in close proximity to skin. It can create a big spark which can be a little thrilling, but is quick and painless. 

What if I need to take it off?

Although permanent bracelets are designed to stay on for a long time, they are relatively easy to remove- just make an appointment with us and we'll be happy to remove it free of charge. In a pinch they can be easily removed with scissors or wire cutters. We recommend cutting on the same link as the weld if possible for the most seamless reattachment. Most of the time, they can be re-welded back on as long as they haven't been damaged. There is no charge to reattach a bracelet purchased with us.

Will it tarnish or discolor?

Our 14K and Stainless bracelets will not tarnish. They are completely waterproof and non-reactive, so they can even be worn swimming.

Gold filled bracelets, however, will eventually discolor as the gold plating on the outside wears off over time. To extend the life of your bracelet, avoid harsh chemicals like those found in pools, cosmetics, and cleaning agents.

We prefer stainless over sterling silver chain for the durability factor, but can make accommodations for those wanting silver! Just let us know ahead of time.

How long will it last?

While permanent jewelry has gained a lot of attention recently, its a practice that has been around for quite some time. Many people are able to wear the same bracelet for years with no trouble. For others, you may have your bracelet for weeks to months before needing it repaired. It depends largely on the style of chain you choose, your lifestyle, and your body chemistry as well as other factors. 

Help! My bracelet broke!

Permanent bracelets are sturdy, but not invincible! If you are able to save the bracelet, we will reattach it free of charge if it was purchased with us. If you are not able to save the chain, we will extend a 25% courtesy discount for a replacement.

I think my bracelet is too loose...

Wearing a bracelet 24/7 is a little different from one you take on and off, and it's not uncommon to want your bracelet a little shorter after you've been wearing it for a few days. Metal links can also stretch over time. If your bracelet feels a little too big, we're happy to adjust it for you!

Do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are welcome but appointments will be prioritized. We also ask that if you are bringing a group of three or more people that you give us a heads up. If you would like matching bracelets, please let us know in advance what style you would like so we can be sure to have enough in stock. For many styles we only carry enough for 1-2 bracelets at a time.

What style chains can I choose from?

Because there are so many chain styles available (hundreds!), we keep a rotating inventory of chains in stock. We try to stock a few bracelets worth of our most popular styles in yellow gold, but cannot guarantee what will be in stock! Just give us a call or text us at (859) 331-4653 to find out what is available or to request a certain chain!

Can I purchase a permanent bracelet as a gift?

Absolutely! We have gift cards available for purchase at any amount. We recommend $35 for stainless or filled bracelets or $150-$250 for a 14K gold bracelet.

Can I get a necklace or other permanent piece?

Unfortunately, for most we do no recommend anything other than bracelets as they are more prone to breaking. However, we trust your judgement on what you can wear- if you are interested, we will consider it!

Can I get a refund or exchange?

All permanent jewelry sales are final once installed. All deposits made to secure appointments are non-refundable, but can be honored if you need to reschedule.
